The annual conference of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) is one of the world’s pre-eminent cancer conferences attracting experts from all around the world. This year’s conference was held between the 3rd and 7th June, again in Chicago. The conference was attended by Jane Gutkovich, Research Director of the EHE Foundation, the American EHE-focused charity.

Jane was there to discuss many aspects of EHE with a broad group of researchers and clinical oncologists. EHERCC was delighted that Jane was able to once again champion EHE, and hold several key discussions concerning different aspects of EHE and associated research. Her discussions included Dr Robin Jones, Head of the Sarcoma Unit at the Royal Marsden Hospital, and a member of the EHERCC Research and Medical Advisory Team.

Topics discussed included cancer metabolism in sarcomas, immunotherapy, EHE treatments and therapy, biomarker identification, and the ongoing research being undertaken by Dr Rubin’s dedicated EHE research team at the Cleveland Clinic.
