The EHE Rare Cancer Charity was delighted to announce 21 runners who will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon next March in support of EHE research. The 21 runners include 20 places secured by the EHERCC plus 1 additional place that was secured individually but will be running for the charity as part of the EHE team. “We are thrilled to have so many people taking part” said Jeff Collins, one of the charity’s trustees. “The support we get from so many people for such a rare disease is inspiring. And having one extra place to make our team up to 21 is wonderful”.
But it is not just the runners that will be taking part. As part of the package the EHERCC will also be manning a ‘cheer station’ on the route. “We want our station to be big, noisy and vibrant” said Hugh Leonard, Chair of the Charity. “ We hope that may of our supporters who could not take part in the actual race will be there on the day to cheer our team on, and all the other runners”.
If you want to take part in the cheer station process, please contact the charity at firstname.lastname@example.org for information.
